About Us
The role of District Health Boards (DHBs) in New Zealand is to protect, promote and improve the health and independence of the population living in the regions they cover. Each DHB funds, provides and ensures the provision of services for their region. This website presents the six unique District Health Boards located in the central region and by clicking on the links you’ll be able to browse through information about each DHB, the benefits of living in each particular region, and the types of position you can apply for.
